Leigh Campbell Porter

 

Leigh Porter's practice includes general civil litigation and representation of governmental entities and various businesses.

As a litigator, Ms. Porter has extensive trial experience in state and federal courts. Her practice concentrates on general civil, commercial and insurance defense cases. Ms. Porter is counsel for major insurers in a broad range of cases. She regularly defends companies and individuals in wrongful death, personal injury, catastrophic loss, oil field accidents, construction defects, premises liability, real estate, commercial, contractual, and transportation liability issues.

Ms. Porter also represents a number of companies and individuals in litigation involving various commercial, contractual, and real estate matters.

As a representative for governmental entities, Ms. Porter provides transactional and compliance counseling in a variety of matters, including contracts, leases, interlocal agreements, open records and open meetings as well as representing these entities in litigation. Ms. Porter also advises these entities regarding employment and privacy laws.

Ms. Porter also serves as general counsel for several local and regional community colleges, governmental entities, and businesses.
